Outdoor Overhaul – With Wayfair

Hello! It’s been a while since I have been on here…..we have been very busy building our dream home that we moved into last week, Cherington House, named after the street we lived on in London.

The house is almost finished, we moved in with it still needing finishing, but needs must!

While inside isnt quite completed, we have made a quick start on sorting our outdoor space, so the kids have somewhere safe to play, and we can relax and entertain over the summer months.

Our sunken patio and raised garden Work has started, with the boundary wall completed…next to go down is our beautiful Limestone slabs for the patio flooring.

I’ve now

turned to looking at how we can best use our space outdoors and bring the cosines of indoors outside, for those not so balmy Irish summers.

I looked to trusty Wayfair who have kindly sponsored this post, for the products of that mood board in my head, and found exactly what I needed. As we have a lot of navy in the house I wanted to compliment that with lots of lavender pots on the limestone steps leading from our French doors, these Lattice Cachepot Set would look stunning filled with lavender, or this  gorgeous Lavender Picking Planter Box would look equally as stunning.

For seating I adore anything Rattan, it’s classy but hardwearing and this 9 Seater Sectional Sofa Set with Cushions is perfect, as you have a table that is a The right height for eating at, rather than a separate outdoor table, great if you are stuck for space.

For those evenings that you find yourself some quiet time, a glass of wine and watch the sunset in this dreamy Wentworth Hanging Chair with Stand, we are actually putting one of these inside our sunroom and going to hang it from the ceiling, but I want one for outside too.

The ultimate luxury in a an outdoor space is a proper barbecue, this Masonry Charcoal Barbecue looks as good as a hand built BBQ and would be the envy of all your guests.

And who says door wreaths have to actually go on a door? I love this lavender wreath and think it would look beautiful tied to a wall within the outdoor space.

Hope you enjoyed this little garden overhaul inspo and happy shopping T x
