The Perfect Gift For New Parents| The Birth Poster

If you’re like me and have spent the last 10 years or so buying baby gifts, whether it's for new parents, a godchild, niece or nephew, you will know that sometimes it's incredibly difficult to find something that's completely unique. For many parents that are on #2,3 or 4 chances are they have all the newborn toys, teethers and a mountain of soft toys, as well as an abundance of clothes. I have found the perfect gift and not only a gift for others, it would make a really beautiful keepsake for yourself and your child as they get older. Unique and timeless. Let me introduce you to The Birth Poster

Created by Stockholm based couple and parents Evelina and Gustav , who are passionate stylish baby products.  Their poster idea on how to illustrate newborn babies at a scale of 1:1 can two years later be seen in children rooms, living rooms and like us in parents bedrooms all around the world.

The Birth Poster is a personalised and unique illustration which brings life to the memory of the newborn. Customers get to create, preview and order the Birth Poster directly on the website. The unique poster design comes together by choosing between four illustrations, two background colors and nine different languages. All illustrations adapt in scale 1:1 to the baby’s actual length at birth. Also included is their name, birth time and date.

Printed on high quality paper 200 gram Schneidler Poster Paper, each design from the series can be shipped worldwide from Stockholm making it perfect for families and friends who might be spread out all over the world. Retailing at €60 per print and with free shipping worldwide, I know what I will be buying my pregnant friends from here on in.

We love the concept behind this unique store and their ability to capture how tiny our babes once were! I get to look above my bed each night and remember that they were once this tiny snuggled up beside me.
